Boston, MA —RF Walsh Collaborative Partners, a leading project management firm, today announced the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate (GA) accreditation of Project Director Paul Kalous.
The LEED accreditation program provided by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) is a three-tiered exam. The first tier provides the test-taker with his Green Associate certification. The second exam provides the opportunity to choose from five areas of specialization in which to take the exam, resulting in the title of Accredited Professional (AP). The third tier is not yet available, but will be offered in the future to advanced professionals only, resulting in certification as a LEED Fellow.
“We are proud to announce that Paul is now a LEED Green Associate,” said Jack Hobbs, president and CEO of RF Walsh Collaborative Partners. “RF Walsh Collaborative Partners is committed to leading the industry in creating sustainable, energy efficient buildings and Paul’s hard work and recent certification is an integral part of our mission.”
Achieving this certification, Kalous will bring his LEED expertise to a variety of clients and help RF Walsh Collaborative Partners with its continued efforts to promote and enhance sustainability for their client firms. Mr. Kalous was project manager on the Delta Airlines Boston Logan Terminal A Redevelopment project that was the first airline terminal in the world to earn LEED certification.
Kalous, who currently resides in Duxbury, Massachusetts, is a Project Director at RF Walsh Collaborative Partners. His responsibilities include team management, service delivery, and administration for a variety of private development and institutional clients.
